I'm a woman. Please don't ever refer to me as a person with a uterus, birthing person, or person who menstruates. How do people not realize how degrading this is? You can support the transgender community without doing this shit.

@AnaKasparian @lizzwinstead But @AnaKasparian those reproductive rights include men... Trans ones obviously. They have uteruses too and whatever laws are made will affect them as well as you. So people with uteruses is just a simpler way of saying women and trans men and any other identity with a uterus.

@AnaKasparian No one would refer to you specifically like that. Those terms are used as a collective when appropriate. Talkin about periods, saying people with uteruses makes sense because not everyone with a uterus is a woman. No one would ever say Ana is a birther, they'd say Ana is a woman

I’m done with Twitter, at least for now. Thanks for the panic attacks and the disingenuous framings of my words. It’s honestly been super shit and stress these past few days. I didn’t demand anything of anyone, I wasn’t policing, i wasn’t calling out. I hate this. I hate it all.

I try to be a kind, caring and understanding person. I work really hard at trying to be. But these past few weeks of people constantly disingenuously coming at me to stoke division and drama is really trying my patience, not to mention my energy and health.

@astrid_uhh @jessiegender Minorities aren't one amalgamated blob, we're allowed to spend time on separate issues that we have and it's important to have tools specific to our particular minorities problems. We can share some tools, some problems, but other problems are unique requiring unique tools.

Please use #DignityForBrianna instead of using hashtag SayHerName to mourn Brianna Ghey. That hashtag is for Black folks killed by police violence, for that community to mourn & fight. We white folks shouldn’t steal it, especially as all of us (not just white folks) are mourning.
