She won’t see this because she’s in the hospital right now, and also because her memory isn’t what it used to be. But I love her and I’m who I am, as a person, a woman, and EJ advocate because she fights the good fight. Happy Woman’s Day and Happy 88th Birthday on March 13th.

Yesterday was National Women’s Day. The best woman I know is my mom, a former Ms Alabama State University Queen, an 87 year old, six time cancer survivor, who raised 5 by herself, while getting 2 master’s degrees, still living in Mobile and probably breathing contaminated air.

Civilian victims of war are not “collateral damage." They are men and women with names and surnames, who lose their lives. They are children who are orphaned and deprived of their future. They are individuals who suffer from hunger, thirst and cold, or are left mutilated. #Peace

My brother and our cousins, who are Palestinian-American, were pulled off the airplane and held by airport security & police at the Minneapolis, MN (MSP) airport last night on their way home from a wedding and were not allowed to leave after questioning because a White woman (pictured below) on board "felt scared" and told the airline my brother and his friends were suspicious for taking turns using the bathroom and claimed they made a bomb threat directly to her. My brother and cousins were speaking in Arabic and English and wearing Palestine necklaces. They are all in their early 20s. In addition, security took several other Arabic speaking & Muslim passengers off the plane for questioning and held them preventing them from leaving as well. They were all racially profiled and treated as suspect. After about an hour, security and police realized there was no basis to the woman's claims and they she was lying and so they sent everyone home. They refused to give my brother the name of the woman and refused to allow him to file a false police report against the woman. The police told my brother to just go home and there is nothing to report on, "it's a she said, he said situation". But this woman put my brother, our cousins and Arabic speaking passengers in danger. Anyone on the plane could've reacted to her allegation and became violent, even pulled out a gun on them or caused panick. He, our cousins and the other Arabic speaking passengers were treated as suspect because they are Palestinian-American and this is without a doubt the result of mainstream corporate media dehumanization of Palestinian victims in Gaza that are being targeted by incessant Israeli bombs. Since October 7th the media has helped manufacture consent for Israel's genocide in Gaza that has killed over 20,000 Palestinians using US supplied bombs by parroting Israeli talking points that portray all Palestinians as subhuman. We still don't know this woman's name and would like help identifying her.

"In cultures around the world, Elders are revered as pillars of wisdom and grace. From Native American tribes to African communities, they are guardians of traditions, peace, and knowledge. Let's challenge stereotypes and honor our elders not as weak, senile, or feeble, but as the invaluable bearers of wisdom they are. 🌍❤️ #HonorOurElders #WisdomAcrossCultures" #MustafaSantiagoAli #Love

Hopefully, Everyone can agree that Clean, Affordable, and Safe #Water Is A #HumanRight! 2.2 billion people are denied safe drinking water. This isn't just a crisis; it's an injustice. 2 billion depend on healthcare facilities lacking basic water services. Health equity is at risk. Over 4.2 billion people (over half the global population) are without safely managed sanitation. 💔 297,000 #children under five perish yearly from diseases linked to poor water and sanitation. Every child deserves a fair start. 🏜️ 2 billion live under severe water stress. # Climate change exacerbates this, disproportionately affecting the most vulnerable. 🌪️ 90% of natural disasters are weather-related. #ClimateChange is not just changing the weather; it's changing lives. 💧 80% of wastewater returns to ecosystems untreated. This isn't just environmental neglect; it's a violation of ecological justice!🌐 🌾 Agriculture, consuming 70% of water withdrawal, highlights the need for sustainable practices. About 7.2 million Americans get sick every year from diseases spread through water. ✊🏾#ClimateJustice #WaterCrisis #ActNow #COP28
