🧵 Introducing DungeonClaw — a dungeon crawler where you actually spend real money to play, and real money comes out the other side. 11 chambers. 5 classes. One Lich King. Let me explain how this works. ↓

people mad that they didn't use x402 but this will be the fate of all these 'standards' the standards are either somewhat academic exercises or (even worse) built for a specific company's strategy but LARP as academic/neutral same goes for securities 'tokenization' standards

We’re paying close attention to the open architecture emerging around AI agents. MCP, CLIs, skills, and protocols like x402 are becoming the Lego bricks of a new layer where agents can act, pay, and compose across the web. If you're building new native capabilities for agents, we’d love to talk.

x402 micropayments won't scale in current form: > the average x402 transaction is $0.09 > the average visa transaction size is ~$50 visa processes 24k TPS. for same vol, we need a chain that has 500x thoroughput = 12M TPS. we need tx batching or new designs for agent scale.

“To the dreamers” Today we announce KAST has raised a US$80M Series A, co-led by QED and Left Lane. We launched in July 2024, and initially there was no belief in my thesis that the biggest opportunity wasn’t stablecoins themselves, but building a global-first financial platform on top of stablecoins. But one step at a time, this changed. Many individuals came into the pre-seed, and Peak XV and Hong Shan led the seed round. Now QED and Left Lane double down with conviction. Yes it’s a historic day; for a company to go from zero to such a large raise in ~16 months is rare. But for the people at KAST, the ones who I really need to thank for showing up 24x7 - it’s back to the grind. We know the only thing that matters, is not flashy raises, but delivering an outstanding product and service to the billions of people who need it, and the customers who trust us everyday. We are not perfect, we are not even two years old, but god damn we try our absolute best. My final points are to the dreamers and believers. Building KAST, the mission was simple, be the stable backbone to people’s financial life, so they can fly as high as they want. KAST is built for the dreamers, and KAST is for believers who trusted us from very early. People like me, a simple dreamer. KAST is so personal to me, because it came from 25 years of trying and failing in life. I built so many side projects, which never went anywhere. I tried so many startups, some which even scaled and then failed. My parents are now in their late 70s, I thought they’d never see my succeed in the one thing I wanted to do the most, which was to build a generational company which made everyone proud - those who invest in KAST, work at KAST, and those who use KAST. Whilst we are not there yet, in fact far far from it, I’m evidence that if you just stay crazy and keep believing, and keep rolling the dice… eventually, you might get the momentum for it to happen. I believe KAST is in the fullness of time, a trillion dollar company for a billion+ people. I’ve never sold a share, and quite the opposite in 2025 kept buying in a lot more. My conviction is infinite on this one. People will think I’m stupid to go so deep. I don’t care. This is beyond money. Thanks for all the incredible support. Now back to work. Peace ✌🏾

We need a crypto wallet built for the average SoFi customer, but still valuable to the crypto degen. I'm thinking... - MPC custody. No key's to lose, self custody, biometric driven. - Holds assets, liabilities and identity. For example, KYC credentials that can be reused. - @Figure YLDS as the fiat on/off ramp. Pays interest on your cash, 24x7 usable. - Debit/credit card to bridge to fiat (until you can buy your coffee with YLDS). Rewards in cash, crypto and OPEN stocks? - High yield on YLDS/fiat through democratized prime. Expand to other DeFi protocols over time. - Robust dApp universe. Initially OPEN, democratized prime, Hastra. - L1 interoperability. Solana, Ethereum, Provenance, etc. - Agentic PA. "Get me a ticket from SFO to EWR on the 5th at the best price possible." What else am I missing here? @mattconroy @juneou @MBTannenbaum

We're excited to announce the launch of Box, a new ERC-4626-compatible vault architecture we built from the ground up to rethink how DeFi vaults manage assets, allocations, and funding. So what exactly is Box? At its core, Box is a modular smart contract that serves as the foundation for a new generation of Steakhouse vaults. It holds an underlying asset like @withAUSD's AUSD or @SkyEcosystem's USDS, and from there it can allocate and deallocate liquidity across whitelisted tokens, pledge and depledge collateral, and manage borrowing and repayment through dedicated funding modules. Think of it as a single composable building block that handles the full lifecycle of vault operations, without the fragmentation you'd typically see across multiple contracts. But modularity alone isn't enough. We designed Box with safety at every layer. Every swap that happens inside a Box vault is bounded by oracle-based slippage checks, so no single trade can move outside of acceptable parameters. On top of that, cumulative slippage over time is also tracked and limited, providing a second line of defense against gradual value erosion. And if something ever goes seriously wrong, Box includes a permissionless shutdown mechanism, meaning anyone can trigger a winddown process that ensures depositors can always withdraw their funds, even in the worst-case scenario. These aren't optional add-ons. They're baked into the architecture from day one. Box also preserves the trust model that Steakhouse vaults have always been built on: 1. Timelocks for managing collateral whitelisting. 2. @AragonProject guardian veto rights. 3. Clearly defined escape hatches. The difference now is that all of this lives inside a cleaner, more flexible framework that lets us iterate faster and build more sophisticated strategies without sacrificing transparency or security. To mark this launch, we're kicking things off with the AUSD Term vault, which comes with 5% AUSD incentives. The Term vault represents a new way to access structured yield, purpose-built for users who want predictable returns without having to navigate the complexity that usually comes with DeFi yield strategies. Deposit, earn, and let the architecture do the heavy lifting. That was always the goal with this launch: simplify earning yield. DeFi has incredible infrastructure under the hood, but too often that complexity gets passed directly to the end user. With Box powering our vaults, we can abstract away the moving parts while still giving users full transparency into what's happening with their capital. Simple on the surface, robust underneath. And this is just the beginning. Box is designed to be a foundation we build on, expect more vaults, more strategies, and more assets powered by this architecture in the months ahead. We're just getting started.
