@CorgiSquirrel @hdpayens To believe that every letter Paul wrote, including the letter to Philemon (written not long before Peter's Martyrdom), was copied and distributed to every church immediately & everyone knew exactly which letters were inspired & which were just letters is historically illiterate

You are making a ridiculous claim that Peter doesn’t come close to making, that’s why you say “suggest” instead of “says.” Good grief. Here are the verses from 2 Peter 3: Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. [my bold] Note that Peter references Paul's letters. He calls them "scripture." Thus, it is easy to see that Paul's letters were not only inspired but were circulating in the first century, read by New Testament Christians, and passed along. How many letters do you think Peter wrote? Do you think he knew which ones of them would end up in the Bible and which would not as he was writing them? lol...obviously since Peter called them "Scripture," he (they) knew which ones were inspired. At least read the referenced Scripture the next time.

The Didache was written before most Christians had a "Bible." It had baptism rites. Eucharistic prayers. Bishops. Deacons. Fasting rules. A full liturgical calendar. The structure Protestants call "Catholic invention" was already running. A thread.

@CorgiSquirrel @hdpayens Show me where Peter referenced the letters Paul wrote that are in YOUR Bible? Peter could be talking about any letters that Paul wrote at that time. No, Peter would not already be certain which of Paul's many letters would be in a Bible one day & which would not.

Israel used their control over Trump and their Jewish money to destroy Massie because he went against their agenda. There is no denying that Trump’s GOP is nothing more than a front for Israel and it has to be destroyed for America First to prevail.

$32 million dollars and an entire administration mobilized to destroy one congressman. His crime? I did read it, and nowhere does Peter tell us which books should be in the New Testament, so how does it "suggest" anything like that? lol...It does not matter whether he meant the OT or the New Testament that was circulating (cf. 2 Peter 3:15-17). Paul writes that "All Scripture is God-breathed...." (2 Timothy 3:16. I know that Peter was martyred before John completed his writings. You really think Peter was referring to the entire NT canon in that passage? "Catholics" are always looking for some "out" from Scripture. See above.

How does 2 Peter 3:15-17 “suggest” that the canon we have today is the same as what “New Testament Christian’s read”? Why don't you read it and then show me how it doesn't. The scriptures weren’t even completed when Peter wrote those words. And you know this how? Your assertion makes no sense. The lack of logic from your own personal interpretation is the problem.

@JohanniChristi @BishopJaxi The pope’s official title is not “Vicar of the son of God”. That is made up. Perhaps you’ve been reading the da Vinci code and think it’s a history book. Don’t lie. Lying is a sin.

@BishopJaxi Jesus called only God Holy Father and says we shall call no one on earth "father", most definitely not "holy father". You literally call a Roman man on earth your "holy father", and you believe he is the "vicar of Christ", and the Roman number of this man's name is 666.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 says all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, so the man of God may be complete and equipped for every good work. Protestants read that and somehow get: "Only Scripture is God-breathed, Scripture alone is profitable, and Scripture alone is sufficient." One problem. Paul never said that. Try that logic anywhere else: "All grapes were created by God and are profitable, so that a man may be nourished, healthy, and strong for every good work." Read like a Protestant, this means: "Only grapes were created by God, and grapes alone are profitable for nourishment." That is obviously absurd. Why? Because "all X is profitable" does not mean "only X is profitable." 2 Timothy 3 proves Scripture is inspired and profitable. It does not prove sola Scriptura. That doctrine has to be smuggled into the verse, because it is not actually in the verse.

2 Peter 3:15-17 suggests the New Testament Scriptures we have today are the same as what the New Testament Christians read. There are other examples. The date of the Didache is unknown. The ‘Catholic Eucharist’ is not mentioned in the Didache. There is no ‘pope,’ ‘Cardinal,’ ‘Archbishop,’ ‘priest’ etc. mentioned as New Testament leadership positions in the Didache. Read it for yourself folks.

How can there a pope in scripture when all verses point the leadership of elders, with Christ as the Good Shepherd? Feed my sheep is the same as care for the flock. When you care for the flock , dont you feed them? Acts 20:28, 1Peter5:1-4 Feeding them spiritual food feeding them the gospel watching over their needs. 1tim 3 1Thes 5:12 acknowledge those who work hard for and admonished you. A pope is not divine and earthly men can be wrong. Peter was not the rock of the church, Christ is. PETER ACKNOWLEDGED it in Acts 4:11 calling Christ the rejected stone. And a rock and a stone are the same. But there was only one stone laid and his name is Christ. Have a good day!

@Scrip7urScholr @Catholic_bro Bible is sole rule of faith. Says who? The Bible. Where? Actually nowhere. So where’d you get the Bible? God wrote it. How do you know? We just know. But it’s your sole rule of faith anyway? Yep! That makes WAY more sense.
