Powerful video by Justin Walker- Wigan CRHTT 💎Modelling feeling safe to take risks and showing vulnerability, creates a more psychologically safe environment for our ourselves and our teams. When us as professionals believe resilience is always being OK, we add to the stigma.

Wind down time particularly around handover transition and the night staff coming on and attending to relational security as the first priority, often overlooked imo. Bespoke plans for individuals is key

The grab box idea specific for weekends could be extended to ideas lists/equipment for evening shifts, importantly the activity is placed on the shift planner, allocated, reviewed and handed over.

Hopefully now GMMH will begin to forced to step back & focus on the quality of care, e.g. think again about the consequence of removing relaxation rooms for surge beds. When we merged with GMMH my values felt compromised on multiple levels
