@ldsteinberg I was also wondering if children on average are having a harder time forming proper social skills being that there's a much larger influence from online entertainment.

@ldsteinberg Im currently enrolled at Wilfred Laurier and I was wondering what your thoughts are on children potentially becoming more digitally isolated with many modern facets of communicating being online rather than in person?

The first few weeks of EM203 have been very insightful for me as someone who is interested in what this course has to offer. I liked learning about cognitivism last week, as it was a new topic for me. I am looking forward to continuing my learning in this course. #EM203Robin

So far in this course I've really liked learning about the overall utility of the internet and the different ways you can interpret new information as a way of learning. Specifically cognitivism, I feel as though this is a really good method for encoding information. #EM203Robin

@Em203JHillis I feel as though the discussion groups are extremely helpful for this class. Its nice without in person lectures to have a group of people to whom you can discuss the content with.

I've really enjoyed the first few weeks in EM203! I learned about the constructivism learning theory as well as the other members of my discussion group #EM203Robin

@CooperKLajoie I 100! agree Cooper! There's so many ways in which the internet has helped me learn. Cognitivism specifically has helped me solve the problems in my golf swing!

@EM203DJuarez Multi modal learning has been a very interesting topic as it is something I typically do yet was never aware of the actual term. Kinda like a psychological function that someone does without realizing it until they take a psych class lol.

The first 3 weeks of #EM203Robin have been very insightful. We have learned about several learning theories and digital technology. Multi-modal learning has been effective for me, but I wasn’t aware of the name or specifics. Hopefully I can take this knowledge into other courses.

@em203Dhal I agree, with free access to the internet, everyone has basically unlimited amounts of sources that can enhance learning and online networking. Technology in the digital age has certainly changed social landscapes dramatically.

#EM203Robin's classes have been incredibly engaging. With an emphasis on teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking, it is evident how the digital age is influencing education. I'm excited to learn more about connectivism and how technology facilitates network-based learning.
