@EMERITUS_INST I can appreciate the focus on learner differences! While VARK classifies preferences, applying this model with varied teaching methods can make learning even more effective and inclusive. #VARKmodel
@TeachThought This is a great resource to explore research-based instructional strategies! Good starting point for educators to explore practices and their potential impact on learning.
One thing I learned from an earlier lesson comes from the week two reading of Tony Bate’s “Teaching in a Digital Age: Third Edition." Bate argues that teaching methods need to evolve. Blending digital tools with teaching can make learning more engaging and effective!

@EM203DylanD EM203 is a very student centered course, especially as we are the learners in the digital age. X as a platform is super useful and versatile, I use it for news updates, articles and memes but you can find anything on the platform.
In the course EM203 I have learned a lot of new things about media and it’s given me a new understanding of learning in the digital age. I have gotten more understanding of how to use the platform X specifically.

@EM203Abhinn Understanding about learning in the digital age is exciting. The 3 M’s are an interesting topic, considering how we use technology in the context of education and seeing the different applications within different courses.
I’ve enjoyed the first 3 classes of EM203. Some interesting topics that we’ve covered so far include learning in the digital age and the 3 M’s. #EM203Robin
@em203gabriel Definitely agree, its interesting to see how much technology and media forms that come with it effect students of all levels. I am sure that throughout the course as students, the topic will become more prevalent and we’ll start to notice more of these effects in our day to day.
EM203 has been a very interesting course so far. It opened my eyes to see how the digital age of media has shaped the way that people learn and share information nowadays. #EM203Robin
@EM203afeliciano The learning by doing theory is super practical and it has a cool implementation within this course, especially in week 3’s learning experiment. I am interested to see how the course builds on this theory.
During the first few lessons of Em203, I learned about the "learning by doing" theory.I am now able to apply this theory, as I get to actively participate in my learning by using social media! I am excited to continue learning through the use of X! #EM203Robin
@EM203BBambaci I agree, multitasking is necessary for academic success, especially at the university level. The 4C’s of critical thinking are super important, whether it be in the context of school or the workplace, balancing tech and our cognitive limits is essential.
Engaging and entertaining. While multitasking is prevalent, studies suggest that it may be detrimental to academic achievement. For learning to be effective, digital technologies and cognitive limitations must be balanced through the 4C's of critical thinking.

Learning about today's digital age has been insightful, and I've noticed aspects of my habits from the course. Understanding the 3 M's shows the importance of managing information, and the learning theories highlight the most effective teaching methods.
