Flooding like we are seeing in #Toronto will continue to get worse due to climate change, but this isn't the only threat. #biodiversity is under major threat due to #climatechange and the #development of habitats. #savethegreenbelt #Greenbelt

Toronto sits in a basin surrounded by the Greenbelt, a system of woods and wetlands that perform a crucial role of absorbing water. The Ontario government recently voted to open them up to development, paving them over, giving rainfall nowhere to go. It's only gonna get worse.

Just wrapped up my first #EM203Robin lesson! Reflected on the Internet's unique role in learning, explored digital tools, created a Pixton comic intro, and set up my course Twitter. Excited to dive into 21st-century education and collaborate with everyone!

So far in my first 3 lessons of EM203 I have learned about the impacts digital platforms have had on our learning, as well as learned about the different learning theories including: Behaviorism, Cognitivism, Connectivism, Constructivism, and Learning by Doing. #EM203Robin
