Hey everyone! Here is an image that relates to my identified problem: Ontario's housing crisis. This photo highlights homeless encampments in Ontario, which signal that the housing crisis is out of control. #EM203Robin #EM203Problem

A problem that I have been looking into is Ontario's housing crisis. It concerns me that when my generation begins to look into buying their own homes, they won't be affordable by any means. This website dives deeper into this issue. tvo.org/article/ontari…

@EM203rowan Hi Rowan! When learning, I don't typically think about how my visual, auditory, and spatial abilities are affecting how I'm processing the information. The multi-modal learning environments were also very interesting to me for this reason!

Media is an amazing tool to support active learning in a digital world! Interactive, multi-modal learning environments allow us to equip visual, spatial, and auditory abilities as well. #EM203Robin

@EM203afeliciano Hi Lexi! I am also interested in seeing how my current knowledge of this theory will actively play a role in how I continue learning and processing information through social media.

During the first few lessons of Em203, I learned about the "learning by doing" theory.I am now able to apply this theory, as I get to actively participate in my learning by using social media! I am excited to continue learning through the use of X! #EM203Robin

@EM203RLerma Hi Rachel! I've found that I tend to latch on to new "shiny" information quickly, often filtering out information I've heard prior due to information's technological advancements. It's interesting to learn that this is universal amongst Gen Z.

Something interesting I learned in these lessons was that Gen Z is able to filter out what we think is irrelevant and can delve deeper into topics we think are important to us due to technologic advancements. Can't wait to learn more! #EM203Robin

@EM203kmcanuff Hi Kendra! I agree, I didn't realize how complex learning is, and how it differs significantly for others, which we learnt through the "get to know me" task.

My first lessons of EM203 has given me a different perspective on learning. I enjoy the room for interpretation in our discussions and how we got to do a creative “get to know me” task. I am excited for upcoming knowledge this course has to offer! #EM203Robin

@em203MWashkurak Hi Mckenna! The information we obtained about connectivism reminded me and opened my eyes to how much I truly use social media as a platform for learning things, and how my mindset can be shifted through the beliefs of others they post online.

We’re exploring into the effects of multitasking on concentration and investigating multi-media and multi-modal learning. Also obtaining information about connectivism and significance of digital literacy through the complex digital learning world of today! #EM203Robin

In the first 3 lessons, I've better understood the different ways individuals consume the information we learn daily. Not one learning style is better than another, but there are some more cognitively detrimental ways we learn than others, such as "multitasking." #EM203Robin
