I have been extremely fascinated to learn about the emerging learning theory of connectivism. A simple yet exceptionally riveting theory that helps us understand learning in the digital age. Looking forward to what else this intriguing course has to offer. #EM203Robin

@EM203AndyCai I believe it is in everyone's best interest to determine what type of learning is best for them, allowing them to maximize their learning abilities! Personally, I am now able to better understand how I learn, increasing my knowledge!

In EM203, I've gotten a very interactive experience on the topics we've discussed. After reading about learning theories such as Constructivism, Learning By Doing, and Cognitivism, I am more aware of these concepts and can observe them in my own learning #EM203Robin

@em203escott I agree that by integrating many different types of learning strategies, the learner is better able to remember the information being taught. It caters to a wide range of learners who may have struggled with their learning abilities in the past!

EM203 has shown me how powerful Digital Literacy can be. It explores less traditional ways of learning, and the ability to combine learning styles. This allows for greater connectivism across students. #EM203Robin

@EM203thompson It is amazing how much of an impact the internet has on learning now! I believe it is beneficial to be able to choose when you want to learn the new material. With in person lectures, you may not be in the mindset to learn that day, and therefore you will gain nothing from going.

@EM203Annyse I agree with how dependent we are on the internet for school! Whether it is listening to a lecture online, handing in an assignment, or replying to a discussion post, the majority of our marks in a course come from using the internet!

One of the things I have learned in #EM203Robin is that technology has had a significant effect on how we as a society learn now. For instance online information is often preferred to the textbooks that we have gotten used to using growing up because of the ease of access.

Learning these days is a lot different when comparing it to 20 years ago! There are many varieties of teaching styles that cater to different ways of learning, many of which involve technology. A more collaborative approach is being taken to drive active learning #EM203Robin
