@JamaalBowmanNY I'm doing research on why standardized testing especially in early education may hinder students learning. I was hoping to get a professionals opinion on if you think we should change the curriculum?

With teacher shortages on the rise students will fall behind - Supply teachers will have to step in and it may make teaching difficult if the supply doesn't understand the curriculum that's needing to be taught, leading students to fall behind. @EM203Areingold #EM203problems

I'm really enjoying EM 203 so far. In the 3 weeks, we’ve looked at how digital learning works and what kind of learners we are. I found the learning theories super interesting; learning about cognitivism made me think more about how I process and retain information. #EM203Robin

@EM203EmmaD I also found the first lesson to be very interesting! I find fascinating how even if we are digital native's we still may not be digitally literate.

I find it especially interesting learning about the first lesson of this course and how technology changes the way we learn and is a response to societal problems. I find it fascinating how media has evolved over time and wonder. #EM203Robin

The past 3 lessons of this class have been nothing but insightful. I have leaned how various aspects of our lives connect back to the digital age, and how we as a society are all connected digitally-which is a beautiful, yet scary thing. #EM203Robin

@EM203GLi I had the same learning theory and I have to agree with you! I now constantly think about how how I retain info.

@EM203SZSWang Yes I totally agree! There are always new things to learn and different ways to do it, which is great for different learning styles.

Wrapping up the first 3 weeks of #EM203Robin, it's been a completely different learning experience. It made me reflect on how we learn in the digital age. From mutitasking to digital tools, I've realize that learning isn't a one-size-fits-all, it's a constantly evolving process.
