@EM203IArora I think narrowing your topic down to focus on accessibility of healthcare to those without adequate insurance could be interesting. What services/support are available to them? How does it differ in certain countries? #EM203problems
@EM203JMendoza looking at your concept map perhaps you could look @ something local having to do with environmental degradation. For example, the Grand River, how bad has it gotten? Is it improving? #EM203problems
@EM203mgibson your topic looks like a fun one to explore! Maybe you could focus on how pollution impacts a certain region. For example, fishing or oil drilling in Newfoundland. Is pollution a factor? #EM203problems
@EM203NDavison looking @ your concept map and knowing little on the topic maybe looking into how the current pandemic is effecting things like labor costs. Are employers having to pay more? Or are people desperate for work? #EM203problems
@EM203RLeboff the idea about culturally relevant instruction on your concept map was intriguing. Given the growing attention to indigenous wellbeing maybe look into the prevalence of indigenous education in schools, are children being taught our history? #EM203problems
@em203gsandhu we are talking a lot about how the lack of access to health services plays a role in how many indigenous children end up in the welfare system in our indigenous children and family course. Maybe look into consequences of lack of health services #EM203problems
@JakeEM203 after looking at your concept map from last week and given our new ways of learning, maybe looking into how off-campus/remote learning is impacting students. Whether it’s grades or mental health, is it influencing high school students more? #em203problems
In the first 3 weeks of class we covered learning styles and the 3 M's of the digital age. My learning group discussed behaviourism, which is learning behaviours by interacting and responding to environmental stimuli! #EM203Clarke
These past three weeks of classes I #EN203Clarke has provided me with numerous learning experiences and techniques. New theories and concepts have been introduced that are very relevant to today’s society. This class allows for growth within technology and how to utilize it best!
Three weeks into #EM203Clarke and I have learned about a variety of ways to utilize technology while learning new tasks. Before this course I was unfamiliar with Twitter and now I have a better basic understanding through completing the weekly Twitter challenges!!
EM 203 is such a great interactive course! In the first three weeks I’ve been introduced to so many different online platforms I’ve never had the chance to work with before. This week my homework includes learning how to knit! #EM203Clarke
