@PublicHealthON racism has been rooted within our Health Care systems for years. Have you guys acknowledged and put any action forward to solve this?

The governments need to target and raise funding for education at all levels for communities and people of colour (predominantly Black people) to lower these gaps in comparison to the majority group

Hi @EM203bvitello, I enjoyed your concept map! One problem to look into is the amount of youth that are now getting diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Due to obesity and sedentary lifestyles, Type 2 Diabetes is becoming more common in children and teens #EM203Problems

In the past three weeks of EM203, I was exposed to different learning theories, specifically learning by doing. I experienced the negative effects that multitasking can have on your studying and I learned a new skill- singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ in German #EM203Robin

@EM203_basil I agree that “learning by doing” is a very important aspect when it comes to teaching and learning. I also believe that universities could implement the “learning by doing” aspect into more of their courses.

These past 3 weeks in EM203 I have learnt a lot about how people learn and how to teach people, in particular researching about how students "learn by doing" and why it's a very important aspect when it comes to even certain university-related programs. #EM203Robin

Throughout the first 3 weeks of the course, I have learned a new skill in completing hard Sudoku puzzles and discovering how to grow and teach learning more efficiently and through different mediums! #EM203Robin

@AfkhanE Nice to hear that you were able to develop some multi-tasking skills after that one experiment. Personally, that experiment was eye opening for me, as I learned how ineffective my study and work periods are if I am multitasking.

In the past few weeks of EM203, I have looked at various learning theories like the connectivism theory. I have also developed my multitasking skills and learned about the many media outlets through which information can be obtained. #EM203Robin

@EM203priyankak I like your point about “how perceptions and ideas are shaped through one’s experiences”. I believe individuals are much more likely to learn when they are active in their learning rather than just sitting and listening to someone teach.

The first three lessons in this course have taught me a lot about the way people learn, specifically how perceptions and ideas are shaped through one's experiences, also known as constructivism. I also taught myself how to solve a sudoku puzzle! #EM203Robin
