The first few weeks of #EM203Robin have been great! Observing learning in a digital age has yielded connections between the course content and my every day life. I've been more observant of different learning styles and the importance of collaborative learning in university.

@EM203LSchin Hey Lola, that fact took me by surprise! Multitasking feels more and more needed in this day and age with how fast everything is operating. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for multitasking.

In my EM203 course, I learned that when we engage in two cognitive tasks at once, there will always be negative effects on at least one of the two tasks, even with the generation of digital natives! Looks like I’ll be multi-tasking a lot less. #EM203Robin

@em203brooklyn Hey Brooklyn, learning about the different ways humans in the digital age learn is definitely interesting! The current technology provides us with many tools that effect the 3 M's and will only grow larger in the future.

In my first lessons of EM203 I have been introduced to learning in a digital age and the 3 M's, multi-media, multi-modal, and multi-tasking. I think it is interesting to see the vast tools we can use in classrooms with growing technology! #EM203Robin

@EM203Emma Hey Emma, It's definitely interesting learning about the new technologies humans have to learn new things. Multitasking is a very important ability in today's age and can potentially alter the academic setting as time goes on.

So far, #EM203Robin has taught me how the internet has dramatically changed the way humans function and ultimately learn. It's interesting that although the internet has increased our ability to multi-task, research has shown that it is not beneficial in an academic setting.

In class #EM203Robin , I have learned about cognitive thinking as well as the 3 M's and how a combination of the 3 can both enhance or be a detriment to ones learning.
