@Em203Toor The lack of physical activity is a major health concern. Being sedentary is one of the main reasons for the rise in obesity and cardiovascular disease. Physical activity is the best medicine for improving health and preventing disease. #EM203problems

@em203gchou Clothing companies including Adidas and Nike use unethical practices to create their products. Despite certain efforts, working conditions and pay for factories workers are still very poor. These factories also produce a lot of waste and pollution. #EM203problems

@EM203sgodse High levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is being absorbed into the oceans and driving down the pH. Acidic oceans can harm marine life and ecosystems. This not only impacts wildlife but people who rely on the ocean for their livelihood and diet. #EM203problems

@EM203vincent I also found the first few weeks very interesting. I enjoyed learning about connectivism. I thought it was interesting that the internet naturally arranges the flow of information for the learner to follow.

The first three weeks of EM203 has given me a new insight into learning and how the digital world integrates into our daily lives. The most latest lesson really delved deep into how I personally learn and it was really fun trying to learn something new. #EM203Robin

@EM203mburke I also found the course has expanded my social media presence and digital literacy. I had never used facebook or twitter, but I am enjoying collaborating online. I like hearing what other students have to say and following news and sports.

As a student that has been in EM203 for the last 3 weeks, I have already learned a lot about the digital world and have expanded my digital literacy using Twitter for the first time. I am really looking forward to continuing this course! #EM203Robin

@EM203Sophie I think Covid helped accelerate the influx of online learning opportunities and platforms. It showed that active learning and collaboration can still exist in an online platform. I think it also helped shape new learning in the digital age and make online learning more accepted.

@em203Ehart I thought it was interesting how the new digital technologies are changing online courses. It allows for active learning and collaboration. It also allows for accessibility, students and teachers and access the class at any time and from anywhere.

@EM203aleinweber Hi Abby, another interesting point is that the younger generation are the ones who are more tech savvy than their teachers and parents. I think it is interesting that the youth or "digital natives" are the ones teaching the older generations how to use technology.

Loving the course material in EM203 so far! I thought it was especially interesting how our generation has grown up to become better multitaskers due to our exposure to technology. #Em203Robin

The first few lessons in EM203 have taught us about a variety of ways to learn online. We have discussed how technology is improving online course delivery. It has created a more collaborative and active way to learn. I am looking forward to the next lessons! #EM203Robin
