Education is a right, not a privilege, yet millions of women and girls are denied access to it every day. When we educate women, we empower communities, break cycles of poverty, and build a brighter future for everyone! #EM203Robin #EM203Problem ohchr.org/en/press-relea…

Related to the topic of how children with learning disabilities can be assisted in the classroom, here's a helpful infographic about some accommodations for students with Dyslexia.

The first few weeks of this session have been quite enjoyable! The interactive discussion postings because they allow me to better grasp the material by seeing it from the many viewpoints of my fellow students. #EM203Robin

@AdamCherutti Hey Adam, I completely agree! I found that "learning by doing" was the most effective way for me to learn as it allows me to learn through repetition and practice.

I’ve learned a lot from #EM203Robin so far. One of the biggest lessons is that there are many different ways to learn. I found the idea of ‘learning by doing’ really interesting. It means that students understand things better when they can apply what they've learned in class!

@osul7600 Hey Lauren! I have also been enjoying this course, more specifically learning about the various learning theories. What is your go-to learning method?

My EM203 class has been great so far! I've learned about different learning theories such as connectivism. Interestingly enough, learning can be described as something beyond us that we can "tap into"! #EM203ROBIN

@em203talisa Hey Talisa, I have also been learning a lot about myself throughout this course. I also prefer to study in environments with minimal distractions as I feel that it allows me to really focus and work efficiently.

EM203 was exciting. I was creating a comic strip. I learned about different learning theories and through that I learned about myself. I discovered the theory of how I best learn. I learned how important it is for me to study in an environment without distractions. #EM203Robin

In #EM203Robin, I have learned many things so far. My greatest takeaway was notably how many learning methods there are. I learned lots about learning by doing- the idea where students learn best by trying the concepts read about in class in real life.

The first couple weeks of #EM203Robin have been very informative and interesting. I have learned a bit about my peers and the various types of learning, specifically "learning by doing". This has helped me enhance my own learning by using these methods in my day-to-day life.
