In the first weeks of EM203, it's became apparent that multi-tasking is a big part of our society, especially as University students. It isn't necessarily beneficial in academic settings, but it's something we have to learn how to do to effectively and the best we can.#EM203Robin

Let's face the facts. We are getting older and managing our finances, especially in this economy, is becomes increasingly important. I found this post from RBC to be super helpful into getting on the right track! rbcwealthmanagement.com/en-ca/insights…

@Em203Mswitzer As mental health is a growing concern in society I appreciate that you shed light on this. In terms of causes I feel as though social media is a monster in the whole of mental health and more attention should be given to the harm it has #EM203problems

@NimaKPourWLU I enjoyed reading your concept map on job hunting. I feel as though we should also consider the affect that the evolution of technology has on the number of jobs available #EM203problems

@EM203AKinsman I really enjoyed your thought process on environmental problems that are caused by chemical. I think that we should be digging deeper on this, companies trying to implement solutions might be causing more harm than good as they are not sustainable #EM203problems

@EM203JBenezrah Completely agree Jonah! Taking a step back and looking at the technology that I used within my education in elementary school compared to now is crazy!

The first EM203 lessons have opened my eyes to how the digital age has changed learning. Lessons 1 and 2 gave me insight on the different learning theories and how the internet has played a transformative role. In Lesson 3, I looked at the pros/cons of multitasking. #EM203Robin

Recently finished my first few lessons of EM203. Here’s my thoughts: I learned a lot about how various learning and teaching theories can be applied to different people. Particularly connectivism is useful as it encourages using your own personal connections. #EM203Robin
