@EM203KFrederick Hi Karlee, I agree! I believe that COVID-19 has launched learning in the digital age way ahead by forcing us to change the method of instruction in an attempt to not sacrifice the personal aspect of in-class instruction.

This course taught me some ways that we learn in a digital age. Technology has created a huge impact on learning by shifting the focus from individual to collaborative learning and changing the methods of instruction by utilizing new learning tools. #EM203Robin

@Em203CaitK Hi Cait, great post! I definitely see the importance of constructivism especially in a course like this as it is completed asynchronously therefore, the majority of it is self directed.

In the past three weeks, I have gained a better understanding of various learning theories. More specifically, constructivism is an interesting learning approach in which a majority of the teaching process is self-directed. #EM203Robin

The first few classes of EM203 have been very interesting. Learning about the different learning theories in the digital age has been very educational and I feel like it is very important to be learning this in light of our new reality of online learning. #EM203Robin

@EM203etaimizra1 I completely agree with the importance of understanding your learning style in order learn effectively. As mentioned in the TED talk for this week, asynchronous learning also allows us to focus on the areas that we struggle more to ensure we know it fully.
