Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well! Take a minute to look at my presentation on eating disorders. You might find information that you did not know before! prezi.com/view/1mRKuBFsg…
Hi! @DrEMcNaught I am a University student working on a project on eating disorder prevention, and we need an expert to respond to a tweet about our problem. Do you have any advice on preventing eating disorders? How to overcome them? Or where to receive treatment? Thanks!
@justinbieber This quote caught my eye because the world is going through a lot at the moment. The ability to listen to music, as Justin says, allows everyone to remember they are not alone and have others that will support them by connecting through music. #EM203Robin#EM203Research
The problem I identified within my concept map is 'how to reduce the risk of eating disorders.' The National Library of Medicine (bit.ly/3dXiXRv) is a particularly relevant website to my problem as it does a case study on eating disorder prevention. #EM203Research
"We all feel anxious sometimes - even more so amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Sometimes these feelings can be overwhelming. David Gratzer, of @CAMHnews, offers some tips for dealing with anxiety and when to seek professional help." tgam.ca/3dMhI7F via @globeandmail
Hii @EM203ksmith after viewing your concept map, a problem that I see connected to the content of your map is self-care and how individuals cope to deal with such problems. #EM203problems
Throughout the past few weeks I was able to understand and expand my knowledge on the unique learning processes different individuals possess. A hands on approach is extremely beneficial in terms of 'learning by doing' as you go. #EM203Robin
Hi! @sarthom203 a problem that I see with your topic on impacts of adults ADHD is how individuals can receive help if they don't have access to medical care and support? #EM203problems
Hi! @Em203Victoria a problem that I see with your topic on environmental issues is that it should be taught in schools, so students understand the consequences of food waste and littering! #EM203problems
Hi! @EM203vmorgan a problem with climate change that I see in your concept map relating to transportation pollution and how there needs to be more electric vehicles, especially transport trucks! #EM203problems
@EM203RDensham Hey Reed! I agree with you on how these first few weeks of class have been enjoyable! We have learned so much about modern digital learning practices, and I think it is a great time to do so as we moved to online learning!
So far I've found EM203 to be really enjoyable! Over the past three weeks we have been learning a lot about modern digital learning practices with an emphasis on specific learning theories. I look forward to learning more about how technology can improve learning! #EM203Robin
@SophieD30042959 Hey Sophie, I also have a new understanding of learning in a digital age because of what we have learned these past three weeks! I also am now more aware of the learning theories I use during class and while doing work!
The first three weeks of EM203 have challenged my presumptions about learning in a digital world through the 3 M's and learning theories such as constructivism. As a result, I have become more aware of the impact technology has on my academic and personal learning. #EM203Robin
@sarthom203 Hi Sarah, I also enjoy learning about the impacts technology has on society! It is interesting to learn now, especially because we are so reliant on technology during these times. I can't wait to see what other types of things we will cover regarding this digital age!
@Peju67257600 Hey Peju! I agree with you on how the first few weeks have been impactful. I also learned about cognitivism and now understand how that learning theory is used in classrooms. I cannot wait to see what we will learn next!
The first 3 weeks of EM203 have been very impactful, particularly from last week I learned a lot about cognitivism which focuses on the idea that mental processes such as the ability to make decisions, feel emotions and express ideas have a great influence on learning #EM203Robin
@DimiSteven Hey Steven, I agree with you on how it is important to be familiar with digital literacy. As the world is progressing, it has become crucial to completing many tasks. Like you mentioned, it is especially crucial during these times while all learning is taught remotely.
Now more than ever it is imperative to be familiar with digital literacy. Considering everything has taken a shift to an online atmosphere (school, work, shopping, etc) having the ability to adapt to a digital environment is crucial to our success during these times #EM203Robin
