Last week we gathered in Roscommon for the showcase of an #EUJustTransitionFund project making a real impact locally. The EV-WT Training Programme is upskilling communities in #ElectricVehicle maintenance and DIY #WindTurbines, delivered by @GRETBOfficial, @roscommoncoco & @Pobal 🔹 56 participants built small-scale wind turbines (5 made entirely from repurposed materials) 🔹 30 participants completed EV maintenance training, tackling key skills gaps as Ireland decarbonises transport These initiatives are strengthening community resilience, supporting local renewables jobs and delivering practical climate action.
