Bitcoin is the scarcest store of value in the world today — Annual rates of supply increase: * Global fiat monies: 14% (over last 60 yrs) * US money: 7.4% (over last 60 yrs) * Gold: 1.5-2% * Bitcoin: 0.84% (and declining) That means that supply of global fiat doubles every ~5 years; US money every ~10 years; gold every 36-48 years. For Bitcoin of course, with 19.8M of the 21M already mined, for the rest of time there will only be a ~6% increase in supply. Many know Bitcoin's scarcity. But hearing these figures from @saifedean at a recent @bitwise event really hit the point home: Bitcoin is by far the scarcest store of value in the world today.
