My message to Iowa State fans. The transition period is painful everywhere. This is college football in 2025 with unlimited transfers. It’s why you see so many rosters be totally flipped year-to-year. You either promote from within and keep some players / coaches, or you go outside an it’s messier at first. Iowa State went outside. It’s way too early to make any judgments. Let the new guy get introduced tomorrow and get to work. Judging this right now isn’t fair.

@Cylights Majority of people who pass out (aka fainting, syncope) or have a dysrhythmia (dangerous heart rhythm) have myoclonic jerking activity like this that is not truly epileptic in nature.

I am not a doctor and definitely could be wrong, but this looks like a seizure. I have epilepsy and have experienced similar “collapses” I’d guess the first part of the clip Ben is experiencing an aura (sensation prior to seizure), followed by the seizure Praying for you, Ben!

What makes an ER doctor? Ask a clipboard at admin rounds: patients per hour, left-without-being-seen rate, dispo times. Ask a surgical subspecialist—during the day, it’s a smirk. At 2 a.m., it’s “God bless you.” Ask the little girl whose broken arm I just reduced. Or her mom. They’ll say something else. Ask me? An ER doctor is the one who makes the call when no one else will. Who acts on fragments, not certainties. Who fixes what’s in front of them and fights what’s behind it. At bedside or boardroom, code or courtroom—we’re the ones who show up.
