@Paddyc123 @NathanAClark Yeah a lot of his work goes unnoticed. Given Slots comments a while back about needing to sell to buy, it would make sense to sell a youth product for PSR reasons. I would imagine that Jones’ preference would be to stay with Liverpool however and potentially wait out Slot.

He did seem to be suffering psychologically, though. Looked like a man who was feeling the pressure. Despite that, Spurs should have given him a season, at least. Only a few days earlier Spurs were excellent tactically against United until Romero let Thomas Frank down (again).

Spurs sacking Thomas Frank is premature with the lack of squad depth alongside the injuries. He himself is partly to blame for taking too long to settle on a specific way of playing in the early months, but with so many injuries it almost became impossible stick to one idea.

Spurs fans - Frank picking duelers in Palhinha & Bentancur is BECAUSE they’re not progressors of the ball. TF does not want to progress central due to central transitions. I am also not defending TF - this is not sustainable vs teams that we should dominate. Great points 👇

@Lilywhite_Rose We’re only allowed 17 non club trained players regardless. Whether he is registered or not makes no difference whatsoever. He may increase a squad size of 22 to 23 with his inclusion.
