The current healthcare system is an ultimate “Tragedy of the Commons.” Most can’t see this yet, but insiders can if they are paying attention. Why? Hidden incentive and the deception of benevolence. The system is incentivized to grow, and to forever be building tiny lies about health for profit, that don’t kill but yield more profit and growth. At first this would a no big deal, as it just increases cost a little. But eventually, everyone just adds a little to the life lie that the doctor or hospital makes one healthy. It’s just not true: sleep, exercise and diet do and have a monopoly on health. But it doesn’t take long to see that a little lie becomes bigger and bigger until everyone believes the lie becomes that shots and pills and surgeries give health and no one bothers avoiding substances or moving. Finally, the entire GDP will be used for healthcare, as few workers will be productive but will need the healthcare benefits. At some point, unless it breaks open, there will be few left to work besides those searching for healthcare growth, as all will simply be victims, and there will be nothing left, like the dystopian Covid fear world, where ignorance will be so prevalent, that not a soul will even realize that there is nothing anywhere but lies and ignorance. People need to get back to worrying only about themselves and their families health and not worrying about the falsely incentivized global movements that are designed to harm the world and help only the globalist cartel. I think it is not too late, but will take the individual to develop introspection, and to put the current healthcare model out of business, building one that does not incentivize false hopes, sedentarism and poor health “fixed” for profit. It can be done. Watch this video and you’ll see an honest surgeon. It holds true for every specialty beyond acute trauma or hydration etc.

I completely agree; I do not think it is the answer. Honestly, I don't know what the sustainable answer is. However, this is the pattern I'm seeing, as you can see in the graph below: Medicare Advantage is now the dominating plan. Both sides of the aisle are pushing towards this, as it is bipartisan.
