@Benking443 So if Fubara is your brother or Family member, that’s what you will advise him to do?

If Fubara has sense, moving to ADC should be his next move. Move to ADC and take advantage of Peter Obi and Kwankwaso's clout. That's your only chance of remaining a Governor.

I really love this N50M grant idea. I've seen two winners so far, a stablecoin app and an Uber for medication app. If all the other winners are just as interesting this might be one of the better ideas this admin has spent money on.

The first time I met Bola Tinubu was in 2004. As a Banker, I have developed so much interest on his political style particularly being the only survival among the AD Governors crushed by the PDP through a monumental world class electoral rigging of 2003. "How did he survive?" was always on my mind each time I was on my Debt Recovery Desk. Then came an opportunity from a leader qualified to be my godfather, "I have a meeting with Governor Tinubu tomorrow in Lagos, I know you'd like to follow me but tomorrow is Friday and you would go to work". The first thing I said without thinking was "I will go 100%"! And fortunately, the meeting was going to take place in the night. So I closed early around 4.30pm that Friday smartly as if I was going on a debt recovery mission but without official vehicle, possibly to minimise cost 😆. Off to Lagos!!! Three of us that went to Lagos are my godfather. The second person was Ambassador Gunju Adesakin, former SDP Chairman in the Old Oyo State. And of course, myself! We arrived at Governor's Guest house in Ikeja around 7.30pm. I saw Former Governor Adebayo of Ekiti already there. I was just looking everywhere to see Tinubu. "Where's the Governor?" was the only thing on my mind. Then an official came in, told us that the Governor has left office on his way to the guest house. Good news. I was the only one wearing Jacket because I came straightaway from the office, every other person wore Agbada! If I wasn't sitting down with them, I would have been mistaken for a DSS officer! Then came some movements, everyone stood up. "The Governor must be around". Of course I was right! Here came my lifelong hero immediately after the killing of Bola Ige. He shook hands with everyone, I had forgotten myself, instead of stretching my hand, I was just looking at Tinubu as if I wanted to swallow him! "How are you?" He said, I quickly stretched my hands, both of them. And I shook him, with my head bowed. "I'm fine Your Excellency". Tinubu, on seeing Gunju Adesakin, his mood changed. He knew he came with my 'godfather', afterall, they were both from Osun State. So he called him aside together with Adesakin, they were walking outside, I quickly followed them. When we got outside, Tinubu said "Chief why did you bring Gunju Adesakin?" The man replied and said "Calm down Your Excellency". "I don't trust him again, he is our leader, a whole former state chairman of our party, why did he decamped to the PDP? Why did he go to Obasanjo?".......then the man replied "Your Excellency, noone is above mistake, he is back now, if not I won't bring him along. Let's settle everything today. At least you know I am yours, if you know, then trust me on this, he has learnt his lessons". Then Tinubu calmed down mysteriously, and he smiled, looking at Gunju Adesakin, he said "welcome back our chairman". And that's was all. We all returned inside to proceed with real issue that brought them. It was then I knew who exactly Jagaban is. This man doesn't joke with loyalty! I saw it first hand!!! Let me say this before I stop. When we got inside and the meeting was about to start, Tinubu narrated his ordeal from office to the guest house on that day "the DSS has been monitoring my movement, they just called me now and asked me if indeed I was going to the Guest house to have a meeting, I told them that is there any embargo on meetings. I am a politician and I do meetings everyday. I want to also use this medium to invite you to the meeting too, afterall you already know the venue....". That is JAGABAN for you, a determined, charismatic and fearless leader of this era!!!! May GOD continue to bless that first day I set my lucky eyes on you...... Good afternoon to all Progressives only ❤️

Few days ago, some people mocked Hausa ethnic nationalism as a farce and now we can see that it is real not a farce. The reality is now staring us in the face. Hausa nationalism is back and it will get support not just in Nigeria but also in Niger republic and places like Ghana. This is beginning of the destruction of the Dan Fodio structures in the core North and this can only happen because of democracy. For the Fulani to stop this, they will need to do a coup and stop democracy, which is impossible. They will also need to radically expunge Hausa intellectuals like this who can face the camera and speak this way. Finally, they will need to keep Arewa out of Nigeria in order to prevent Hausa nationalists from getting influenced by middle belt nationalists, Niger delta nationalists and Yoruba nationalists. In conclusion, like I have always said, in Geopolitics, Ethnic brotherhood is superior to religious brotherhood. Think Yoruba First!
The Yoruba Times@TheYorubaTimes

🇳🇬🗣️ HAUSA INDIGENOUS MOVEMENT LEADER: "Hausa and Fulani Are Not One People — Fulani Took Every Political Position in the North, Yet We Are Still Being Killed by Fulani Herders and Terrorists" A leader of the Hausa Indigenous Movement has spoken out, declaring that Hausa and Fulani are not the same ethnic group. He accused the Fulani of dominating every political position in the North, leaving Hausa people with nothing, while Hausa communities continue to be killed by Fulani herders and terrorists. His remarks have reignited debate over ethnic identity and power dynamics in Northern Nigeria, challenging the long-held narrative of a monolithic "Hausa-Fulani" bloc. The statement also underscores growing tensions between the two groups amid persistent insecurity in the region.
