I have a Bengali friend who used to work in a MNC in Noida. He was a hard-core Anti BJP and Anti Modi. He left Noida a couple of years back and went back to Kolkata to open his own Restaurant. After a month of opening the business, a ruling party councillor sent his man to his Restaurant and asked him to pay 5 Lakhs because the councillor wanted to bring a Singer to perform in Durga Puja. My friend declined to pay the money. He was threatened by the party workers. A week later, the corporation van would come at night and throw the garbage in front of his shop every night and he cleaned it everyday. This continued for couple of weeks until he closed down his Restaurant. Last day he called me and shared this story with me. He said "I used to hate BJP and Modi but I am happy we are free from Mamta Regime because of Modi"
