Following our team moving to STANDBY on Thursday for a yellow weather warning for snow & ice, we remain on standby due to the latest warning covering the north of the county overnight.

If 4x4 Response did Water Stations... 💧 We were out in force today at @CR_UK Race for Life and Pretty Muddy at Hylands Park, Chelmsford. Our team were out in the heat marshaling the course, providing water, supporting the medical team and set-up/derig.

A handful of the team were supporting @raceforlife today in Brentwood; assisting with course set up and marshaling. We were also presented with our 15 year service badge from @CR_UK by Event Manager, Anna.

Last weekend saw our team get together for a training day; covering topics such as off-road driving, traction assist, vehicle recovery, and scene safety/multi-agency working. The day was well attended and provided the team opportunity to learn and practice their skills.

⚠️ STANDBY - Earlier today our team moved to standby status ahead of Storm Darragh. Our team will be assisting a local organisation over the weekend, with additional responders available should the need arise to respond across the county.

Yesterday saw our team supporting @niceworkrun Chelmsford Marathon in aid of Havens Hospices. We provided emergency transport on the route for participants, working alongside @EssexRAYNET and EMATS.
