10 years of the Ladybird Guide to Spacecraft Communications! 🎉 🚀 From 9–13 February, the 10th edition of the Ladybird Guide to Spacecraft Communications took place at ESA ESEC in Belgium, celebrating a decade of inspiring future engineers. 🎓 Thirty students from 13 nationalities explored the challenges of space missions through expert sessions on signal coding, transmission techniques, and other mission-critical concepts. 🛰️ Theory quickly turned into practice: working in Flight Control Teams, participants simulated satellite passes, sent commands to a FlatSat based at ESA ESOC in Germany, and captured images. 📡 Then, a visit to the Redu site offered behind-the-scenes insights into operations, including the PROBA programme and Galileo services. The week wrapped up with a final satellite-pass simulation, a strong showcase of teamwork, skill, and everything learned along the way. ✨
