What if I add that in 9 seasons of them being together in La Liga. Messi won the league 6 times, Ronaldo won it 2 times. Messi won best player of the season 6 times, Ronaldo won it once. Messi won the top scorer 5 times, Ronaldo won it 3 times. In those 9 seasons, Messi had more assists than Ronaldo in every of those season. Not once did Ronaldo have more than him in 9 years. Stop misleading people just because your favorite player hasn’t won the World Cup! He will swap that three peat UCL for 1 World Cup easily. The champions league is played every season in 7 months while you’ll have to play 7 games (now 8) within 4/5 weeks for the World Cup. You cant rest players in a during the world cup.
