@GoingParabolic @coinbase I had a similar call last year. They were VERY convincing. I eventually told them I had less than 1 ETH in the account, and they hung up on me.

This Coinbase hack affected a lot of people. Even tech savvy people. I have a friend from Stanford who lost 3 Bitcoin because the person on the phone knew literally everything about him and his account. Inside job. Glad @coinbase is reserving up to $400M to reimburse victims.

Son got a 1 day suspension for the second time this year. This time it was for telling some kid that he’d give him a dollar if he stuck a paper clip in an electrical outlet… he immediately said “no that’s a bad idea, don’t do that.”The kid still did it. My boy got in trouble but the idiot didn’t. Wife pulled him out for the rest of the school year (4 days)
