We’re about to be parents in a couple weeks! We’re going to open a Trump account and a 529 for our child. 👶🏼 Plan is contribute consistently in the 529, just open the Trump account for the free $1,000. What would you do? 🤔

I feel bad for the most the US that Canadian beer isn’t a main stay. It’s all we drink in the Midwest and it’s fantastic 🍻

Actually opened a taxable brokerage in my name for my son. Will transfer it over to him once 18. Can use the funds to help with a down payment on a house, wedding, business idea, etc. Not locked into using it for education or turning it into a retirement account he can’t touch for 4 more decades after 18.

@ETFAndChill We have 529s. Small UTMAs for extra money they get as gifts. The idea of the roll from traditional to Roth from 18-? With no earned income is beginning to seem a little appealing.

@ETFAndChill I think that is a smart play. We have 529's for both our boys and enjoy a nice tax break each yr from contributing.

@Investinc_Intel $HIMS is a fun one! I’ve done two successful but small swing trades with HIMS past couple years. The volatility is insanity though lol I can bring myself to build out a sizable position

I have averaged up… I originally sold on the initial run up to $13 Then I went all in on Hims and did the wheel on it. That allowed me to double my old SoFi position 300 shares -> 500 shares I haven’t added much money over the years. Maybe half of my $ZETA position would make up for any capital I have added. I will say I have done 2 dumb gambling things because of crypto/prediction markets that lost me 4k in total which I will not let myself do again and also why I am an advocate for SoFi>Hood
