Credentialed advisor seems to not understand that "live off the dividends without touching principal" necessarily means a smaller pool of money to fund retirement, which just means the client could have retired earlier, to which he literally says "I don't care." Appalling.

It genuinely seems like you still don't understand here that we just mean "live off the dividends without touching principal" necessarily requires a larger portfolio than if one were open to tapping the principal also, meaning the person willing to tap principal could have retired earlier. That's what we mean by "delay retirement" - waiting to amass the larger $ value. I explained this to you about 3 times already. I can't tell if you're missing the point purposely or accidentally. You say your clients haven't had to delay. That's great! But again, if you're using this silly "live off the dividends" approach with them and they don't care about leaving principal as inheritance, that just means they could have retired earlier. I can't figure out why this simple inequality escapes you. Again, 2 apples is more than 1 apple.

It’s absolutely ridiculous that we have 25-year-old “students” who graduated 3 years ago still playing college football.
My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons. After that, you’re done.

I knew and worked with Bob Mueller. I didn’t always agree with him, but he was a Patriot who never said no to his country’s call for service. To speak this way about any veteran is reprehensible; especially so when you are the Commander-in-Chief. Shame on the President.

I recently did an interview and had a lapse in judgment, which resulted in me making a tasteless joke about CTE and asthma. It was never my intention to downplay the seriousness of head injuries or asthma.
