Happy to meet 🇨🇿 Health Minister Adam Vojtěch @adamvojtech86 to discuss urgent health priorities: how health package helps action on rare diseases, how to secure medicines supply in Europe and how to protect young generations from nicotine addiction and unhealthy diets.

Today, I discussed with the representatives of @EurEau the challenges linked to the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive for patients and the production of critical medicines in Europe.

Medical devices will increasingly become the interface of new health technologies - from digital tools to AI-enabled diagnostics and advanced therapies. Their role is often underestimated, but they will be central to the future of healthcare in 🇪🇺.

I had the pleasure to open the conference on #MedicalDevices in @EU_Commission. This sector matters greatly- for our healthcare systems, our economies & above all for patients and their families. 🇪🇺 must remain a place where innovation thrives without compromising patient safety.

First meeting at #SIA2026 with @FNSEA @rousseautrocy & @JeunesAgri🤝 We discussed food sovereignty, food safety and how to make farming an attractive future for the next generation. Europe must back those who feed us - with fair competition, simpler rules and stronger resilience.
