Today, I met with Mozambique’s President Daniel Chapo. We discussed the EU’s support to the country after the recent devastating floods, as well as our Global Gateway investments in clean energy and digital connectivity. I also emphasized that attracting more European investment requires a good business environment, political stability and continued reforms. This is how we can create new jobs and economic opportunities for people in Mozambique.

Delighted to welcome President @daniel_chapo24 of Mozambique today for a constructive meeting in Brussels. We reaffirmed the strong partnership between the EU and Mozambique, and our commitment to invest in regional stability, sustainable connectivity and growth. 🇪🇺🤝🇲🇿
