@EVAsKarma @breakfasttv Great catch! They are called light pillars! You need frigid air & calm winds so hexagonal ice crystals can form. When these are flat and suspended in the air, they reflect the light below them (like streetlights etc.) towards the observer, which in this case was you!

I am horrified by the violent attack in Oshawa and deeply disturbed to learn that the victim’s hijab was torn off during the assault. This must be investigated as a hate crime. Islamophobia has no place in our communities — full stop.
