Severe weather will return to the Midwest tomorrow! We aren't talking about an outbreak, luckily, but there will be scattered storms tomorrow afternoon, which will lead to isolated damaging wind gusts and large hail. During the evening and overnight hours, storms will become more widespread, with mainly a wind threat. Your sleep might get messed up from rumbles of thunder tomorrow!

Strong to severe storms are likely Tuesday evening, bringing risks of large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes. Have a way to receive weather alerts Tuesday evening and identify your safe shelter location now.

Large SLIGHT RISK of severe weather is in place for Wednesday, with a risk of significant severe weather on the table. There is a high amount of uncertainty in storm mode right now. If discrete supercells form, multiple tornadoes may be possible. The more likely scenario is that storms will be clustered together, leading to more of a straight-line wind threat with embedded tornadoes. Either way, we will iron out the details over the next few days, so stay tuned for updates.
