“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” – Psalm 121:8 As the Christmas season unfolds and families across our beautiful nation come together, we give thanks for the precious gift of life, the warmth of fellowship, and the enduring hope ushered in by the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. To all Kenyans traveling to be with loved ones, may God grant you safe passage on our roads, protect every journey, and bring you home in peace. May this season be filled with joy and meaningful moments as we celebrate the greatest gift ever given to the world. Wishing you blessed travels, joyful reunions, and a Christmas filled with love, gratitude, and hope.

My dear Bill, happy birthday! Today, I thank God for the gift of your life, for the journey we have walked together, for your courage in moments of uncertainty, and for the steady love and discipline with which you carry the weight of leadership. I have seen your heart for Kenya, your tireless commitment to serve, and the quiet sacrifices that often go unseen. As you mark another year, my prayer is that God grants you good health, inner peace, and renewed strength. May He surround you with wisdom, protect your steps, and reward your labour with hope for our nation and joy in our family. With all my love and gratitude, I celebrate you, not only as a leader, a father and a husband, but as the man God has entrusted to us.

@RobertAlai If they are strategists as you call them, why couldn't they strategise so that baba wins the election, you left thinking straight long time ago. When you wake up from this slumber, you'll realise that Kenya n Kenyans moved long time ago. Have a blessed evening

In political parties, we have parrots and strategists. Junet, Mbadi, Joho, etc are party strategists while Orengo, Sifuna, etc are party parrots. Choose who to listen to.

Why should a politician aligned to one who has tried to use the youth to instigate a coup be scripting war plays for younger kids? TSC MUST interdict teachers who allowed Malala to be scripting violent plays for children in school. @WilliamsRuto

What is happening in Nakuru to the legendary Butere Girls and their play 'Echoes of War' is REGRETTABLE and UNFORTUNATE. Nevertheless, this is not a case unique to the country. It redefines our history and shapes up the future of art's critical role in our social-political phase. In 1977, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o was detained without trial for editing a play, 'Ngaahika Ndeenda' (I will Marry When I Want), which was regarded as a political critique of government. Ngũgĩ spent a year at the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison, released later in 1978 after Kenyatta's death and went to exile. His books would become a point of reference all over the world decades later, until today. Ngugi's detention shaped Kenya’s human rights. It built and strengthened him as a charismatic, creative author and political activist. Despite that, reasons for Ngugi's detention have never been given, and time vindicated him that his predicaments were a gateway to literature transformation that will last for centuries. That happened in Kenya’s old constitution. In the current dispensation of the 2010 Constitution, we are witnessing authority's resistance to literature and art again. This is re-writing and reaffirming the legacy that Ngugi wa Thiong'o cemented. Another chapter is being written. Different from Ngugi's, this time, state mercenaries are being enforced on innocent schoolchildren more especially young girls. I admire the kids' resilience, stepping out with heads high, singing the National Anthem on stage, was a show of unique courage and bravery that must be nurtured. Hecko Butere Girls, you are, and you will be part of history for a long time to come. To the teachers and parents of Butere Girls, nurture those young heroines. Let them not cower into intimidation from a helpless generation that is fading off. That is our country's future. To the leadership/government, you can not fight art/literature; you can only adjust to fit in because it is a mirror, reflecting the values of society. It brings our human behaviour and a true picture of what the world is. Finally, Cleophas Malala should be left alone. He is a true son of this country who has done Kenya proud through art. These are the brains that should be celebrated, utilised, and not persecuted.

Our children must be protected from toxic politicians. We can't allow politicians who don't want to spend on rallies and active political barazas to turn funerals, schools and churches as their playground. into @InteriorKE should move with speed and end this.

This red snouted two legged warthog who cannot tell the difference between “creating rows” and “enacting laws” has the audacity of lecturing the Judiciary for invalidating unconstitutional laws. In Kenya, we do not have a problem in Parliament, we are the problem.
