I really do like both Jon and Joe, and I’ve always openly shared my tremendous respect and admiration for Jon’s father, Len Green. The man inspires and motivates me. But being brutally honest…the more I listen to some of their shows lately, the more it feels like a pep rally or promotional tour for The Jockey Club and HISA. I always talk about transparency here. So let’s be honest. It’s no surprise Joe works for Terry Finley at West Point, and Terry is a steward of The Jockey Club. Joe and West Point are also partners with Griffin Johnson, the newly crowned “TOBA New Owner of the Year.” And just recently, The Jockey Club made Jon Green a member. But for some reason, Len Green, a super-successful, outspoken entrepreneur, was never asked. And of course, I’ve never been asked either. Why??? Because I’m too intelligent, too practical, and I genuinely care about every single participant in this industry. Also, let’s be honest, I don’t pheasant hunt. And now we have people pretending that sending comments to some “HISA email address” means HISA is actually listening. Acting like HISA has traveled the country listening to owners and track operators is condescending and insulting to everyone who truly cares about this sport. By the way, the attorney they tell you to send comments to is related by marriage to the consultant who setup HISA and who was a long-time former head of Equibase. Shocker. Love me or hate me, I’ve been the most vocal and loudest advocate for owners, trainers, horseplayers, track operators, and fans. HISA has been fully implemented and forced upon us, by The Jockey Club and their stewards, for three years now. Three years, $250 million wasted…and what do we have? No real cheating scandals uncovered. Barely any meaningful progress on horse fatalities. Nothing substantial to improve aftercare or eliminate slaughter. What we DO have is: Owners pushed out Trainers pushed out Track operators pushed out Fans pushed out… And an industry shrinking faster than ever. They are bankrupting this sport and killing people’s dream and livelihoods. Anyone who pretends there’s “nothing to see here” is nearly as liable as The Jockey Club and Breeders’ Cup, the very groups who created and funded HISA. I’m asking the “members” of this Bullshit Club to resign if you agree with me, or make a statement in support of the Jockey Club and HISA. A billion-dollar class action lawsuit will happen in the future. And I believe discovery will expose years of corruption. @jockeyclub @hisa_us @breederscup, if I’m wrong or you disagree with me, make a statement or better yet SUE me for slander!!!!! Please sue me!!!!! 😂 😂 🤣 Because in this case, silence = guilt. And to everyone in this industry who truly cares: Have the courage to be vocal. Don’t send secret emails to the son-in-law of the consultant who launched HISA, that will never be heard. Use my platform to finally speak the truth, whether you agree with me or disagree with me.
