Today I raised the issue of burn out in doctors with the PM and asked for assurance that the budget will support us by providing adequate staffing over the coming months. Not sure if we will see any major changes, but he did recognise we are undervalued ⁦@drjessmorgan_⁩

@EXMJones2 @AmieBurbridge Never say never… But if we are aiming to rate control someone in fast AF I prefer oral bisoprolol, lasts longer! And in this case we plumped for digoxin because the BP was low and we were worried about a B-blocker dropping it further. Thanks for listening!

As a much broader issue, if an org is going to publish policy affecting trainees without consulting trainees (meaningfully and transparently I might add) then maybe you should stop doing that.

I'm experiencing an increasing number of patients calling the lab directly for blood results advice who get angry when I say that I can't give it as I am not their doctor. Does anybody have any advice regarding how to diffuse this? I'm usually met with "I can't reach my GP".

I’d have thought maybe it was a happy coincidence but alas, the tone towards said cyclists was not as positive as my split for the race so I kept my head down and made an effort to not win it or break any world 5k records today. The end.

At the Swansea @parkrunUK this morning I lined up with the course newbies & the leader of the day gave us the run down (pun intended) on the course and noted the fact that we shared the course with walkers & more notably, cyclists who, in his words were….

I take it she’s an F1 if she’s wearing white to work 😂
