@EX_789 @ManaByte Let's see... Turok was key to Metroid Prime; Turok 2 was possibly one of the first Metroidvania FPS games, so it makes sense for the creation of Prime, and that's what caught their attention and led them to buy it, Maybe I've gone off-topic

By the end of the N64 era, Rare was missing deadlines and their output was slowing to a crawl while development costs skyrocketed. When Rare co-founders Tim and Chris Stamper put their remaining stake up for sale, they triggered a bidding war hoping Nintendo would overpay out of sentimentality.  Hiroshi Yamauchi looked at the math and refused to bite. Rare only accounted for a tiny fraction of Nintendo’s revenue at the time, and critical talent was already leaving the studio to form independent teams. Crucially, Nintendo owned the rights to Donkey Kong and Star Fox, meaning Microsoft was paying an inflated 375 million dollars for a logo and a handful of niche intellectual properties.  Passing on Rare wasn't a mistake; it was letting a competitor spend a fortune on a studio that had already peaked, freeing up resources for Nintendo to build their own internal teams and weather the GameCube era.

@patmart100 @ManaByte Yeah they buy something, Retro Studios, that is funny because the studios was worse than Rare in that time.

I largely agree with that, and think Rare's late N64 output showed a clear decline in their capabilities, but it's still disappointing. And I don't see how it led to Nintendo being better prepared for the GameCube. They weren't. They may have saved some money but they should have bought SOMEONE.

@NotiPlay_ Sony no se atrevería, Naughty Dog es una de las más grandes desarrolladoras de videojuegos que tiene Sony, ni de pedo lo cerrarían, se que tuvo sus momentos cuestionables como lo es la enorme sobreexplotación de TLOU con el remake y remasters pero ha sacado grandes juegazos.

Jason Schreier comentó que Sony no estaría del todo contenta con Naughty Dog. El principal motivo sería que el estudio lleva más de 5 años sin lanzar un nuevo juego, sumado al enorme presupuesto que está requiriendo el desarrollo de Intergalactic.

@AlphaOYT Yo diria que aparte de graficos y musica, mas que destacar, sus demas aspectos son mid, que no es malo en si, pero es lo suficiente como para ser llamativos para todo el publico.

Resumen: 1) Accesibilidad: Cualquier persona puede llegar y descargarlo y en varios idiomas. 2) A simple vista no parece juegos de Celular. Además, puede que un Gacha de Nicho sea mejor en un aspecto en concreto, pero los Gachas que se consideran Mainstream suelen destacar en casi todos los aspectos y flaquean en unos pocos. (Hablando muy en general xd)

@JHAL920 Intenten buscar hace tiempo información de porque paso esto, ya que recuerdo que este episodio se repitió en un tiempo bastante extendido, pero no encontré nada, tal vez porque la serie no era muy popular, aunque yo la recuerdo con cariño.
