I do actually think education would do itself a favour if it stopped placing such importance on 'Ofsted outstanding'. Be more collegiate and less competitive. Dump the banners. 👀🤷‍♀️

NEW - What next for the early years? It’s clear from the events of last week that the govt hasn’t grasped how severe a crisis the early years is facing. We know that many are rightly furious about the dismissal of our sector & calling for urgent action to be taken in response.

We absolutely believe that early years professionals should be paid a fair wage for the incredible job they do, but a NLW increase without an equivalent increase in early years funding is simply not sustainable for our already-struggling sector #AutumnStatement

The Chancellor has announced a 'national living wage' increase from £9.50 to £10.42, the largest ever rise. W/ no mention of the early years yet, despite a significant schools investment announcement, this is an incredibly concerning announcement for our sector #AutumnStatement
