Be kind and compassionate, for all in this world are your brothers and sisters.
___
"A Lady asked an old street vendor: "How much do you sell your eggs for?" The old man replied "0.50¢ an egg, madam.” The Lady responde, “I'll take 6 eggs for $2.00 or I'm leaving.” The old salesman replied, “Buy them at the price you want, Madam. This is a good start for me because I haven't sold a single egg today and I need this to live.”
She bought her eggs at a bargain price and left with the feeling that she had won. She got into her fancy car and went to a fancy restaurant with her friend. She and her friend ordered what they wanted. They ate a little and left a lot of what they had asked for. So they paid the bill, which was $150. The ladies gave $200 and told the fancy restaurant owner to keep the change as a tip.
This story might seem quite normal to the owner of the fancy restaurant, but very unfair to the egg seller. The question it raises is;
Why do we always need to show that we have power when we buy from the needy?
And why are we generous to those who don't even need our generosity?
We once read somewhere that a father used to buy goods from poor people at a high price, even though he didn't need the things. Sometimes he paid more for them. His children were amazed. One day they asked him "why are you doing this dad?" The father replied: "It's charity wrapped in dignity.”
I know that most of you will not share this message, but if you are one of the people who have taken the time to read this far...
Then this message of attempted "humanisation" will have gone one step further in the right direction."

@AlderLaneEggs This Edwin guy is a total jerk and a classic asshat. if you read the transcript one would think you and he had polite conversation about OSTK and Enovix. The tape tells an entirely different story. What goes around come around. Needless to say my subscriptions are history.

Well done @ActAccordingly $TRUP is a complete scam @gmorgenson @TODAYshow @EmilyJBrill @caninereview @NealMcConnell @CapitolistPig @Integrity4mkts
“And then finally, we are, for the first time in our history, overcapitalized, Sometimes, we have cash and we have to put it into risk-based capital as we continue to grow. That is not the case today…. So we have nothing definitive that we're sharing at this point, but knowing that we don't have to take more of that money and invest it for capitalization, which is the first time in our history we haven't had to do that, that gives us a long runway, a much longer runway than if we necessarily had it in our bank. So we're working through that process. It is a benefit to us. It's a potential future lever, and it's something that we'll continue to work with the New York DFS to work on what that solution looks like overall.”

“Yes. So within the APIC, we have an asset portfolio, trying to basically capture the interest -- rising interest, get the yield at the market level. And then Margi just mentioned that we have been -- we're overcapitalized and also we're entitled to get the cash out of the insurance company.”
•Wei Li. CFO, Trupanion, Inc. 6/7/23 Shareholder Meeting
In the three weeks since TRUP reported its 2Q23 results, we can’t let go of arguably the biggest question coming out of the earnings conference call: Why did the company increase capital in its insurance subsidiaries during the quarter when management insisted that APIC/ZPIC/QPIC/GPIC were “overcapitalized”? Anyone listening to the shareholder meeting ten weeks ago would have been led to believe that the company was on the cusp of extracting capital OUT of its insurance subsidiaries to the holding company to be used for stock buybacks, debt repayment, or even dividends. However, during 2Q23 the exact opposite happened. It appears TRUP infused approximately $13-$15MM into APIC and a modest amount into GPIC. The chart below outlines the progression of cash and cash equivalents at APIC over the past few years according to the company’s statutory statements. Not surprisingly, TRUP does not provide this level of detail to investors directly but can be obtained by reviewing the company’s statutory statements filed with the NAIC.

It looks like $APE may actually reverse split tomorrow on the 24th with $AMC then convert on the 25th.
This was not described this way in the @AMCTheatres 8k.
Yet, IMO it may be a better outcome.

Well tomorrow is conversion day for $APE.
We will see what the real game plan is as $APE is now HTB on trading platforms.
If the conversion hits and shorts don’t have locate on their positions this could cause massive volatility.
I’m guessing Failure To Deliver is going to be the headline Monday morning on the 28th.

Submitted my youngest VAERS report today. 20 year old female nursing student, very healthy, developed severe chest pain and tachycardia the day after her second @pfizer shot. A year and multiple doctor visits later, she still is unwell. She had never heard of VAERS until seeing me today - previous doctors (3 + multiple ER visits) never mentioned it to her.

Nancy Pelosi just entered her 36th year in Congress.
Can there really be a better example of why we need TERM LIMITS NOW?
A president gets a maximum of 8 years, good or bad.
So the question becomes “why can we never seem to vote out the bad ones in Congress”?
Sure, their terms come up and elections are held…
BUT SOMEHOW THEY NEVER SEEM TO LOSE, EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE HATES THEM OR THEIR POLICIES.
Why can’t we seem to get rid of do-nothing lame reps like AOC, Cori Bush, Maxine Waters and Adam Schiff?
We know they’re bad for America - but we can’t seem to vote them out.
Same thing happened with the Newsom recall in CA.
Enough people wanted him out to recall him, but he MYSTERIOUSLY got enough votes to stay in.
And don’t think that the Republicans don’t have their fair share of losers too.
We should be able to VOTE OUT EVERY RINO the minute we can prove they’re playing for the other team.
We got rid of Cheney and Kinzinger got rid of himself, but there are still plenty more to go.
WE HAVE A CORRUPT PRESIDENT, AND A SPEAKER WHO WILL NOT TRY TO REMOVE HIM!
That says it all, for everyone to see.
Patriots, we need a restructuring ASAP, before we reach the ROCK BOTTOM of the slippery slope we found ourselves on back on November 4, 2020.
God bless America 🇺🇸
