Nick Saban on Leadership. “Leadership is about helping somebody else for their benefit, not yours.” - Nick Saban True leadership isn’t about power. It’s about lifting others up and putting the team first. Lead for impact.

Every player on the planet needs to hear this — over and over again: Remove all the “stuff” — results, expectations, distractions — and just compete. Compete. Compete. Compete. At the end of the day, it all comes down to becoming the ultimate competitor. Breathe. Center your thoughts. Lay it on the line and compete.

Was not ready for Eric Church to deliver the best commencement speech I’ve ever heard. Six guitar strings. Six pillars of a life. Faith. Family. Spouse. Ambition. Community. You. Tune them when you’re whole, not just when you’re broken. Watch the whole thing.

wtf kinda post is this? the game is engagement, so, sure. but, LeBron is inarguably the 2nd best player of all time, & arguably the best player of all time. why post this? why? Lakers are literally missing their best player, & just took a team that is possibly 1 of the best ever assembled to the brink in a must-win game. OKC was always going to win this series, but all the haters would’ve still said stupid deprecating shit like this, even if they took it to 5-6-7 games.

John Wooden won 10 national championships in 12 years. Nobody's done it before. Nobody's done it since. He never talked about winning. He talked about effort, preparation, and character. Here's 21 lessons he left behind: (📌Bookmark this)

Curt Cignetti shares a universal truth about habits and consequences. "In life - you got freedom of choice, but not freedom of consequence." "First you form your habits, then your habits form you." Every choice and action you take compounds. The small decisions you make daily - preparation, work ethic, and how you respond - those become your habits. And over time, those habits become your identity. You're free to choose. But the consequences of those choices aren't optional. Your habits are shaping who you become. (🎥IU Athletics )

Nick Saban said, "Everything starts with discipline." "It's what are you willing to accept from yourself." Discipline isn't punishment. It's a choice. • A choice to be consistent. • A choice to put in the work. • A choice to demand more from yourself.

College football has committed itself to transitioning from being a completely unique and fun alternative to the NFL with its own character to being a shitty NFL knock off that dispenses with all that was great about CFB and replaces it with none of what is great about the NFL

*taps microphone* It's obvious to anybody who isn't an OKC/SGA supporter that OKC benefits from a massive double standard from the referees. Teams are simply not allowed to play them with the same level of physicality that they are allowed to play against their opponents. This particularly applies to SGA more than anybody else. Everybody focuses on the fouls called, but it's the fouls NOT called that are more impactful. However, there's no stat to track non-calls because it will always be "subjective". This dilemma creates endless arguments. But watching the games, we all see it. OKC doesn't NEED the whistle they get to be a great team, but that whistle does take them to a level of dominance that feels artificial and impossible to fully respect no matter how much they win.
