While it was a lovely start from Max, this is largely down to Max being able to angle and position his car for an aggressive launch from being in front, while Ocon is stuck an entire car length behind and not really pointing the right direction for such an aggressive launch with steering lock applied. After all, they were on cold hard tyres.

We've lost the championship lead in DTM after receiving 6 penalty points for leaving the track and gaining an advantage I'm gutted as I was just trying to avoid a crash. I would have given the position back if I believed I'd gained an advantage. We'll be back stronger next time
