Say what you want about Zach Bryan, but that man can write a good song. He made someone like me (who hates country) actually enjoy country music. Even if it isn’t “real country” it’s still closer to that than anything else.

@EarHustlaz @BlooperReverse Jamie, Someday (Maggie’s), Heading South. There’s just too many good ones to choose from. Something In The Orange isn’t the greatest but it’s the one that got me hooked.

@BlooperReverse He doesn’t have a bad song imo. At least none that I can make myself skip. His music saved my life ngl. He really has a way with words.

The difference you’re looking for lies in how marketable their music is… it’s plainly a superficial metric that sets J Cole apart from BIG KRIT. Although J Cole speaks generally and leaves room for interpretation, it’s the deepest cut most people hear in mainstream music. Big KRIT on the other hand expresses his thoughts completely..and narrows his message and story down to something specific, something general listeners can’t relate with or hear themselves in. J Cole is held to a higher regard because of his mass influence… KRIT is held to be lesser but more lyrical/creative because he can express an emotion completely and in its entirety.

J Cole has some incredible highs but on the whole I really can't figure out what yall see in him to claim he's so far above other southern lyricists. He certainly doesn't make better music or albums than Big Krit. Hell he doesn't make better albums than Rapsody.

Success in music is simply doing what you love most at your best ability… whether you’re in a crowd of 50 or in front of five thousand.

If you’re an artist that seeks to entertain with your music, then you need to be obsessed with being the center of attention. After briefly looking over your page, you don’t seem to be the center of attention.

If someone asked you: "what is the purpose of your music?" What would you say?

You want them to catch the wave or not? - Don’t underestimate the flow!
