Considering adding “#2 running podcast in Croatia” to the bio. Seems like something everyone should know.

Update! @Eli_Runs has gotten three unprompted compliments on this interview “in the wild.” Definitely worth a listen, and now available on Google Podcasts (or wherever else you get your podcasts) after a slight delay: bit.ly/3NQ6cGG

Letting things cool off before dropping out too-hot-to-handle youth marathoning episode. But to tide you over ‘til then, an interview with @RagnarRelay and @FitLabInc’s Tanner Bell drops tomorrow—be on the lookout in your podcast player thing-ys!

Great to see the @Carlsbad_5000, which nearly folded, seemingly rejuvenated with over 4,000 combined finishers and strong elite fields in today’s races. Would’ve been sad for this gem to disappear.

After conducting the interview, can confirm, if you like being angry at people on the internet you think are wrong, then this upcoming episode is a must-listen (and the ECT Pod will be the person you get angry at for being “wrong”).

Prepping for a special pod on youth running long distances, with an interview with one of the world’s premier medical experts on the topic. Also prepping for massive blowback when the internet hears what the science says . . .

Thoughtful event transportation planning is another area we can all make a difference in our events’ sustainability footprint. And the unique location of their event lets @GrandmasMara’s have some fun with their race morning participant transport options!
Grandma's Marathon@GrandmasMara

Taking the train or the bus is the only way to get to the Grandma's Marathon start line 🚋Each year, approximately 234,000 pounds of CO2 are avoided by requiring runners to take a bus or the train. Happy Almost-Earth Day 🌎 #Gmas22 #grandmasmarathon #earthday

A couple initial ideas are to make sandbags out of leftover medals (an old Austin Marathon trick!) or to find a non-profit that wants to unthread them from their ribbons and then take them to a scrap metal facility which will pay them by the pound.
