A very interesting development in a post-House settlement world. A lot of schools will have to make decisions like this. Which sports do they want to be nationally competitive in — and which ones will they cut/support but with fewer resources than their peers?

The House settlement is not the end. It’s a step along the way, and a whole lot more work needs to be done to create better, optimized policy for the many different industries and missions operating under the umbrella of American college sports.
