@Mio_Mind After Katrina, Dutch experts were consulted. The issue wasn’t cost it’s that Louisiana is a sinking delta with unstable ground and land loss. Dutch style systems rely on stable coastlines. Some ideas worked, but the question is/was would a fully Dutch style system work long term?
