@middolo I dont like the obsession over OOP ability. Yes it’s important but we cannot be signing players based on their OOP play and not their ability on the ball. This fanbase has truly lost the essence of football. If Messi played today they would be against his signing saying he’s lazy

To all the Barcelona fans that want Rafael Leao at Barcelona I once attended a random Serie A game it was Milan vs Verona. This guy came on as a second half substitute & despite Milan hanging onto a 1-0 lead he barely moved whilst OOP. It was so bad I even had to record him, you can even hear me laughing in the video. It’s also worth pointing out he’s never cracked 30 G/A even once in a season. Be careful what you wish for.

@Furymaker_ @Ellis_ Main problem for me, is his stamina He's a power house, no doubt. But the rate of which, he uses up his tank, is just unbelieveble Most games, he's like 15-20 minutes of movement, then he's empty. Leaving him dried out and weak

@Ellis_ yea, he's like Rashford in that sense, even a bit worse, Rashford at least presses once or twice and makes a sprint or two without the ball. Ain't worth risking 50mil, even tho he does thrive on confidence and happiness and Barca is all about that

If Hansi Flick couldn't get Rashford to increase his work rate, what’s the probability he convinces Leao? Doing what Raphinha does requires a specific profile: high stamina, a defensive engine, and total commitment.

People complaining about the press is so cringe. If the reports are true that he’s fifty million, that “press” point is completely moot. That was a valid conversation when he was 120 million, because at that price you can’t leave cracks unaddressed and have to analyze things more deeply. At fifty million, you’re getting one of the best physical profiles in a winger, someone who’s also ridiculously creative and technical, and who actually has the intelligence to play the positional football needed at Barca. He’s worth it based on what he offers alone. Complaining about pressing when a player costs fifty million is honestly too funny.

@ACruishner I've watched Leao a lot, like really a lot. 50 games, atleast I judge him on workrate, tactical awareness, mentality and output and let me tell you, he only passes one of those I don't like free passengers and he's one

It saddens me that most culers have no idea who Leao is. He’s the epitome of who I will describe as a ceiling raiser. “Pressing” can be redundant because it doesn’t address the full scope of why a player like Leao doesn’t press. Milan have some of the most athletic midfielders in Europe. Pressing starts from the front, but people forget it’s the middle third where winning the ball is more imperative. Most tacticos don’t rate our midfielders because they’re not athletic freaks which is very important. Why do you think Pedri’s form has regressed? Leao is surrounded by physically inclined midfielders and defenders, pressing is the thing his managers would expect from him. Do you guys think Luka Modric would survive at this age in Italy without being surrounded by athletic freaks? What’s Arsenal’s front 3 and their contributions to pressing?
