Spain are deserved winners of this world cup, they were quite clearly the best team in the tournament. Argentina shameless performance with a ton of fouls and aggression that went unpunished today. Super happy for my boys, Cubarsi, Pedri, Ferran, Yamal, Olmo, Gavi, Eric, even Joan. Sucks a bit for Messi, but he did far more than anyone expected and it's been great seeing him run it back for a bit. Overall the final was quite underwhelming and boring, but at least the deserving team won in the end.

He is world class finisher, has signature near post finish and signature far post finish, has one of the best movements without the ball (intelliget movements) and box instincts in general. If he focuses on his strong sides he'll always be extremely effective, but he has to improve his hold up play and effectiveness in build ups as a #9. He knows how to attack the space to get himself into goalscoring opportunities, but he doesn't move well to open up space for others and help his team being the outlet for central progression. I don't doubt he'll grow, but with Vini and Jude it will be a bit weird still.

I’m genuinely very curious to see how Mbappe ages. For someone so reliant on his pace/fast twitch movements, you’d expect an adjustment needed sooner rather than later. 27 now, I’d be very impressed if he maintains his level until 32/33.

France are embarrassing, just trying bunch of individual actions, showing off and almost no effort to play for jersey. Obviously England cares more and they prepared for the match unlike France. Tuchel prepared them well.

@UsykBastardNEW Can agree with that, Leeds were good watch last season as well, proper pain to play against too.

Our points tally didn't really do justice to how competitve we were last season. We genuinely played better than a few teams that finished above us that massively overperformed their xPTS (some got into europe, won't name names lol). Owners are showing some real ambition, so I'd imagine expectations are high internally, even if that's not reflected in messaging to fans. But agree, deffo thought he'd have gone higher, so super happy with the signing. We've got a good one 🙌

Brilliant move for Leeds, but ngl, for Tarik, I'm a bit underwhelmed and I love Leeds. Imo Tarik is ready for a much "bigger" move, a team that is playing CL football. He is exceptionally good CB, I do hope Leeds will do well and strengthen well.

Hajdari is another CB who's perfectly capable of moving up in his career just like Muharemović, but I actually don't think he should go to another team unless it's a CL club. He's really a CL level CB.

Not my point, I just think he is already ready to step up to the next level. If things go badly in a mid-low level team in PL, any player can look way worse than they actually are which is what I'm hoping won't happen as I do think Leeds can improve to the level of competing for Conference League.

@Furymaker_ You’re not getting a better club than Leeds for a platform ATM. We even somehow got Darlow a move to Manchester United

My only worry atm is how competitive Leeds will be, I'd love for him to have some European matches as well. But tbh I always believed Leeds can stay in that mid-table fight and with signings like Tarik you guys could even compete for Conference League. But ngl, I did believe he'll go to a team that's already playing CL level football.

No idea how we managed it 😅 I'd written our chances off as soon Inter became involved. We're really building something here atm. New capacity stadium, massive fanbase, and renewed ambition. At worst he comes, raises his value whilst gaining massive exposure, then leaves after a couple of seasons and moves to a UCL club. Definitely a massive coup for us, tho.
